Job summary

Fish & Richardson P.C. is seeking a technology specialist to join our leading patent practice in the United States.

You will draft patent applications, discuss with patent offices, and advise litigation teams on technical matters, gaining responsibility early in your career. We value a strong background in electrical engineering, experience in semiconductor technology, and proficiency in English (and Korean is preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of patent drafting and/or prosecution experience.
• Strong English and Korean language skills preferred.
• Superior writing skills with excellent academics.
• USPTO registration preferred.

• Draft patent applications for innovative clients, including descriptions and figures.
• Correspond with patent office about pending patent applications.

What You Will Do

• Draft patent applications for innovative clients, including descriptions and figures.

Who You Are

• You have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in Electrical Engineering, more specifically semiconductor technology.
• You have strong English and Korean language skills (preferred).
• You have 2+ years of patent drafting and/or prosecution experience.
• You have superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
• You are registered before the U.S. Patent & Trademark office (preferred).

The expected salary range for this position is $125,000 - $200,000. The salary offered will depend upon individual qualifications and experience.
