Job summary

Fish & Richardson P.C. is seeking a technology specialist to draft patent applications for semiconductor technology and to interact with patent offices across its US offices.

The role offers early responsibility and hands-on training within a leading Intellectual Property practice. The candidate should have a BS in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of patent drafting/prosecution experience, strong writing abilities, and preferred English and Korean language skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with experience in Electrical Engineering, specifically semiconductor technology.
• 2+ years of patent drafting and/or prosecution experience.
• Strong English and Korean language skills (preferred).
• Superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
• Registered before the USPTO (preferred).

• Draft patent applications for innovative clients, including descriptions and figures.
• Correspond with patent office about pending patent applications.
• Advise patent litigation teams based on your technical and scientific area.

What You Will Do

The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 - $185,000. The salary offered will depend upon individual qualifications and experience.
