Job summary

Fish & Richardson P.C. seeks a technology specialist in our US offices to support a leading Intellectual Property practice. You will draft patent applications, discuss with patent offices, and advise litigation teams on technical matters while interviewing inventors about new ideas.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with semiconductor experience and 2+ years in patent drafting/prosecution. English and Korean skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; background in semiconductor tech.
• 2+ years of patent drafting and/or prosecution experience.
• Strong writing skills and academic credentials; U.S. PTO registration preferred.

What You Will Do

• Draft patent applications for innovative clients, including descriptions and figures.

Who You Are

• You have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in Electrical Engineering, more specifically semiconductor technology.
• You have strong English and Korean language skills (preferred).
• You have 2+ years of patent drafting and/or prosecution experience.
• You have superior writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
• You are registered before the U.S. Patent & Trademark office (preferred).

The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 - $185,000. The salary offered will depend upon individual qualifications and experience.
