Collin College is seeking a part-time IT specialist to provide technical support for software, hardware, peripherals, and AV equipment across campus events and classrooms.
The role requires an Associate degree and 3 years of related experience. Expect to assist students, faculty and staff, diagnose issues, image computers, and maintain equipment inventories. Candidates must be able to work on multiple Collin College campuses and adhere to security policies.

We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
Job Summary: Provide technical support, services and training to faculty, staff, students and outside organizations for software, hardware, peripherals and audio-visual equipment.
Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects. Positions in this class typically include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, climbing and balancing, plus pushing, pulling and lifting. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment.
Associate degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years of related work experience required.
Five (5) years of directly related work experience may be substituted for the associate degree.
