Job summary

Seminole Classic Casino Hollywood seeks a Technology Service Technician to maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair computer systems, hardware and peripherals within a fast-paced casino environment. You will document, upgrade, and support hardware/software configurations while managing user accounts and security settings.

In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for documenting, maintaining, upgrading, or replacing hardware and software systems; as well as supporting and maintaining user account information including rights, security and system groups.**Essential Job Functions:*** Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.* Use remote diagnostic and maintenance tools to resolve issue when appropriate.* Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs computers systems, hardware and peripherals.* Maintain records of support activities as required by departmental policy.* Work well as a member of a highly technical support team.* Organized approach to daily business is required.* Perform other departmental duties as may be required by Management.* Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hazard free work environment.**Qualifications:*** Professional certification and 0-3 years experience in hardware, software and network diagnostics* Well developed written and verbal communication skills are required as well as a neat appearance and professional conduct.* Strong people skills combined with efficient time management skills.* Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.* Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures is expected.* Experience with mid-range systems is preferred as well as proficiency at operating computers and software programs. A+ Certification and one of the following MTA 349: Windows OS Fundamentals, 365: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals, 366: Networking Fundamentals, 367: Security Fundamentals or MS Office Specialist Certification (At least one product is also required within 3 months of hire).**Work Environment:*** The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
