Job summary

RSM seeks a Technology Risk Consultant (TRC) to join its Risk Consulting practice. You will apply accounting, business, and IT knowledge to assist clients with control design and risk assessments in a growing advisory arena.

The role emphasizes collaboration with client leadership, engagement on IT controls, and experience supporting SOX/regulatory and SOC engagements. Travel to client sites is common, with ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at least a B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent from accredited university, expected completion by June 2027
• Two types of individuals we hire: Accounting and/or Information Systems majors
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Travel to client locations may be required; access to reliable transportation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
• Ability to work as an effective member of a team
• High integrity and professionalism
• CPA, CISA, or CIA certification preferred, not required

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with design and optimization of controls leveraging business processes and IT
• Identify internal control deficiencies, assess risk, and advise clients
• Create internal control documentation to support engagements
• Engage client leadership on strategies to address technology risks
