Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Technology Risk Consultant (TRC) to join its Risk Consulting and TRC team, supporting middle-market clients with technology risk management and assurance capabilities. The TRC team helps clients align IT controls with business objectives, leveraging accounting, business, and information technology backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at least a B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent, with expected completion by Dec 2026 or Jun 2027
• Major in Accounting and/or related degrees or Major in Information Systems and/or related degrees
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Travel to client locations may be required and reliable transportation is expected
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills
• Ability to work as an effective team member
• High integrity and professionalism
• Certification or working toward CPA/CISA/CIA is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)/regulatory and compliance engagements for application and IT controls
• System and Controls (SOC) reporting and other controls opinion services
• Information Technology controls testing in support of financial statement audits
• Technical IT controls review
• Internal audits over ERP systems, IT security, and other IT systems
