Job summary

Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Technology Project Manager to own end-to-end delivery of multiple technology projects and releases. You will plan, manage, and deliver projects with budgets in the $5M–$10M range, coordinating with business partners, vendors and on/offshore resources.

You will lead program governance, develop comprehensive plans, and provide regular status updates while mentoring junior PMs and ensuring quality outcomes across the project life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business or related field.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• 7+ years across all phases of software development life cycle.
• Expert understanding of business functional areas and IT systems.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and to manage within it.
• Superior written and verbal communication including executive level presentations.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time, on budget and to quality.
• Experience managing large‑scale technology projects with strong budget expectations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end ownership of technology projects or small-to-medium programs/releases.
• Plan and manage cost, schedule, scope, quality and resources following appropriate methodologies.
• Deliver annual portfolio of high-profile projects with budgets roughly $5M–$10M+.
• Develop project vision, plan, metrics and timelines; ensure status reporting and testing are completed.
• Lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with business partners, vendors and staff.
• Provide periodic post-implementation reviews and project-readiness planning.
• Mentor junior PMs and contribute to PM process improvements.
