Job summary

Western States Equipment Company in Meridian, Idaho seeks an experienced Product Owner/Project Manager to lead Agile initiatives across departments. You will plan, prioritize, and manage backlogs, define scope, and drive timely delivery.

The role requires 3 years in product ownership or project management, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication. Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Jira, Power BI, and Dynamics is preferred. On-site role with a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Three Years of product owner or project management experience required.
• One year experience using Agile methodologies to manage a portfolio of products or projects is preferred.
• One year experience with Microsoft Dynamics (AX or D365) ERP software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with leadership to determine potential projects or products that will deliver value.
• Plans proposed projects or products to define scope, resources needed, and timeline.
• Conducts backlog planning meetings to define requirements and user stories.
• Analyzes proposals to determine deliverables, milestones, and tasks.
• Manages the technology project and backlog scheduling to maximize productivity.
• Leads planning and standup meetings for related projects or products.
• Establishes plan and staffing for project activities and recruitment.
• Monitors and drives product development and release progress.
• Implements communication plans for successful implementations.
• Assists Technology Leadership to develop product roadmap strategies.
