The Illinois Department of Early Childhood (IDEC) seeks a Director of Technology Business Operations to lead IT governance, compliance, and technology support services for the agency. Reporting to the DCOO, this role drives systems ensuring strong audit and cybersecurity controls.

Collaborating with DoIT as the Agency Technology Services Requestor, you will enable IDEC staff to deliver programs for families with young children, ensuring reliable technology services and support.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of four (4) years of college.
• Four years of progressively responsible administrative experience.
• Experience in contract management, procurement support, and fiscal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT governance, compliance, and technology support services for the agency.
• Coordinate with DoIT to create and maintain essential technology tools.
• Supervise staff and ensure audit, cybersecurity, and operational compliance.
