Job summary

Jobtailor in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced technology operations professional to design, implement, and govern scalable solutions across platforms and networks. You will own processes, drive operational improvements, and provide guidance through reviews and troubleshooting.

The role emphasizes independent work, collaboration, and applying best practices to ensure performance, reliability, and security of services and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CCIE, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.
• Extensive experience with multi-cloud environments, automation frameworks, and infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, Agile methodologies, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Knowledge on cloud technologies with server spin up, firewalls setup, software installation & configuration including user setup preferably AWS.
• Working experience on GitLabs repo including setup pipelines, using Duo agent and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience using web servers, application containers, caching technologies and strong knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling).
• Knowledge of code coverage and quality using SonarQube and Veracode.
• Debugging and monitoring using CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace is preferred.
• Automated build and deployment knowledge using Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.
• Understand and implement secure coding practices related to internet facing applications.
• Knowledge of best Cyber security practices and ability to resolve any code or open-source library vulnerability issues quickly as per SLA.
