Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners, LLC is seeking a Technology Operations Analyst for a hybrid, long-term contract opportunity in Irving, TX (also open to Chandler, AZ; Charlotte, NC; Columbus, OH). The role focuses on provisioning access, managing tickets, and supporting database and application teams in a fast-paced financial services environment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in Technology Operations, experience with access provisioning on major platforms, and familiarity with service-ticketing

Qualifications

• 4 years of Technology Operations experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or more experiences.
• At least 2 years’ experience provisioning access (Users, Privileges) on Oracle/SQL/Teradata/PostgreSQL/Yugabyte/DB2.
• Experience with ticketing systems (Service Now, ART, Remedy, Pac2000 or similar) and customer-focused work environment.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting technical issues and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Technology Operations.
• Review and analyze Technology Operations challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of factors.
• Contribute to resolution of moderately complex issues while adhering to policies and compliance.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Technology Operations.
• Provision access to end users for various LOBs across the company.
• Coordinate with DBAs and Applications teams to determine access levels.

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• 4 years of Technology Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• At least 2 years’ experience provisioning access (i.e. Creating Users, Deleting Users, Granting Privileges) on one or more of the following platforms: Oracle, SQL, Teradata, PostgreSQL, Yugabyte or DB2.
• Ticketing System experience (Service Now, ART, Remedy, Pac2000, or other) as well as experience working in a customer service focused environment.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting technical issues.
• Fast learner who is adaptable and flexible in the face of changing and challenging demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Will require use of personal cell phone and may participate in teams on call rotations as need.

What You Will Be Doing

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Technology Operations and contribute to large-scale planning related to Technology Operations deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Technology Operations challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Technology Operations deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Technology Operations.
• Responsible for provisioning access to end users for various LOB’s within the company.
• Work very closely with the Database Administrators and Application groups to determining the level of access people require.
• Reside in the Security teams.
