Sasol is seeking a Technology Manager: Comonomers for a Westlake, LA site to drive process technology development and commercialization. The role requires putting the job code AD2026 on your resume and leading engineering activities across the Americas.

You will manage a small team of engineers, supervise complex chemical production processes, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and pursue yield, energy, and cost improvements while coordinating with operations, maintenance, and R&D teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• 5 years of experience as a Process Engineering Manager or similar, with scaling-up ethylene oligomerization.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
• Knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management and environmental regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day operations of a large petrochemical unit.
• Manage safety, reliability, and environmental compliance for the Americas.
• Guide complex chemical production processes, including high-temp/high-pressure systems.
• Oversee plant equipment, distillation, heat exchangers, and control systems.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost yield and energy efficiency.
