Job summary

Overview

• The Commercial Litigation Practice specializes in representing clients in high-stakes business disputes across a wide range of industries, including contract, class action, business torts, shareholder and partnership, antitrust, and intellectual property litigation, handling all phases from pre-litigation counseling to trial and appellate proceedings.
• Responsibilities include developing global litigation strategies and drafting substantive pleadings for matters such as data protection, defamation, IP infringement, consumer protection, and contract disputes, while overseeing on-the-ground counsel.
• The role involves guiding clients through regulatory investigations by international data protection authorities and consumer protection agencies, including drafting written submissions, forecasting outcomes, and advising on compliance strategies.
• Advising clients on risk assessments for newly developed products, policies, business structures, and proposed global legislation and regulations is a key duty, as is analyzing reports of unlawful social media posts or user account moderation.
• Research and presentation of global analyses of laws impacting social media companies, covering intermediary liability, hate speech, and defamation, are central to the role.
• Required experience includes supporting litigation across multiple stages, encompassing pre-litigation assessment, pleadings, briefing, and witness preparation.
• Foreign language proficiency in German, French, Italian, and/or Hebrew is a plus.
• The role reports to a Partner.
