Job summary

Truist is seeking a senior governance leader to direct funding governance for technology lifecycle refresh, EOL/EOS remediation, and regulatory commitments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align investments with cost transparency and portfolio objectives, and guide external partnerships to optimize costs and performance.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in IT governance, risk and regulatory funding, and portfolio management.

Directs funding governance for technology lifecycle refresh — technology-asset refresh and end‑of‑life / end‑of‑support (EOL/EOS) remediation prioritized via ITARC — and for Risk & Regulatory commitments, including MRA/MRIA supervisory matters, new regulations, and non‑compliance remediation. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to align investment priorities, governance, and delivery with TD&O’s cost transparency and portfolio objectives.

2. Identifies, designs, and implements process and technology improvements to enhance operational workflows within area of responsibility.
3. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to align business operations with technology strategies and organizational goals.
4. Analyses and reports on performance metrics to drive continuous operational improvements.
5. Executes on operational technology strategies and initiatives to support business objectives.
6. Integrates innovative solutions to improve business outcomes and operational effectiveness.
7. As applicable, drives strategic alignment and operational excellence by guiding key external partnerships and leading cost‑optimization efforts that enhance financial performance and support organizational objectives.
8. Ensures compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
9. Communicates operational status, risks, and improvement plans to senior stakeholders and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

2. Experience in technology lifecycle refresh governance, end‑of‑life / end‑of‑support remediation, or risk/regulatory funding and IT portfolio management (e.g., ITARC prioritization, MRA/MRIA remediation).
3. Familiarity with technology‑asset refresh and end‑of‑support investment processes and regulatory commitment tracking.
