Job summary

The Vanguard Group invites graduates to join the Technology Leadership Program in the Risk & Security Analyst track. Over two years, you will rotate across Risk & Security-focused teams, gaining exposure to cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, risk management, and identity & access management.

You’ll contribute to risk reporting, strengthen controls, and collaborate with partners to enable secure, reliable services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related field required.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, threat analysis, risk management, or fraud prevention.
• Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and ability to take ownership of work.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity and operational risks across Vanguard's systems and processes.
• Analyze potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risk scenarios.

The Technology Leadership Program is a two-year rotational development experience designed for graduating students ready to begin their careers in technology. Participants complete three eight-month rotations across Risk & Security-focused teams, gaining exposure to different areas such as cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, risk management, and identity & access management - while increasing ownership, responsibility, and leadership capability over time.

In this program, you will:

• Support efforts to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity and operational risks

• Partner with security, technology, and business teams to strengthen controls and processes

• Take ownership of projects and contribute to delivering meaningful outcomes
• Collaborate across teams, share insights, and drive solutions in a supportive environment
• Build a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders, and peers
• Meet regularly with your department manager and program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship

What it takes:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, threat analysis, risk management, or fraud prevention
• Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and ability to take ownership of work
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, team‑oriented environment
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred
