Job summary

Vanguard seeks early-career technologists for its Technology Leadership Program, Data Scientist track, in Malvern. You’ll apply machine learning, statistics, and AI to solve business problems, uncover patterns, and optimize processes.

You’ll work with data scientists, engineers, and business leaders to translate problems into analytical solutions and deliver end-to-end results. You’ll participate in three rotations across Data & Analytics teams, gaining exposure to diverse domains and tools

Qualifications

• Master’s, MBA, or relevant advanced degree in Data & Analytics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in machine learning, AI, and advanced analytics.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or SQL, and familiarity with analytical or modeling tools.
• Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and ability to take ownership of work.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

The Technology Leadership Program is a rotational development experience designed for early‑career technologists ready to make an impact. Data Scientist participants complete three rotations across Data & Analytics-focused teams, gaining exposure to different domains, tools, and business challenges while increasing ownership, responsibility, and leadership capability over time.

In this program, you will:
