Job summary

A technology solutions provider is seeking a Technology Lead specializing in Mulesoft Anypoint API Platform. The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers, design and develop RESTful APIs, and contribute to best-practice documentation. You should have at least 4 years in IT and 2 years with Mulesoft. Experience with Node.js and NoSQL databases is preferred, as well as familiarity with Agile processes. This role may involve remote team management and will require strong technical decision-making abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or three years of progressive experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 2 years of experience with Mulesoft Anypoint API Platform.

Overview

• Full-time
• Location: Pennington, NJ
• Role: Technology Lead – Mulesoft Anypoint API Platform

Responsibilities

• Technically lead and groom a team of developers who might be geographically distributed.
• Create Design Documents addressing business pain points around integration leveraging Mulesoft Anypoint API Platform.
• Interpret requirements to develop Mule services/integrations in CI/CD and Agile processes.
• Make technology decisions related to Mulesoft/eCommerce environment.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to best-practice documents on Mulesoft and expose knowledge of web standards related to APIs (OAuth, SSL, CORS, JWT, etc.).
• Possess extensive coding experience with Java/Spring or Node.js.
• Understand differences between SOA and API design.
• Support Change & Incident Management processes (CMRs, etc.).

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Mulesoft Anypoint API Platform (Must Have Technical Skills).
• Preferred:
  • Experience in Node.js.
  • NoSQL experience (Cassandra, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
  • Self-starting with the ability to handle complex tasks with little oversight.
  • Experience working in a scrum team and in onsite/offshore model.
  • Exposure to DevOps.
  • Experience to work in a Global delivery environment.
