Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Dallas, TX seeks a senior MuleSoft integration expert to design and deliver complex API-led solutions. You will architect, develop, test, and deploy MuleSoft APIs and integrations across enterprise systems and cloud/on‑prem environments.

With 10+ years of relevant experience and deep knowledge of DataWeave, RAML/OpenAPI, and API security, you will collaborate with architects, analysts, and developers to ensure scalable, compliant implementations and strong runbooks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in integration and API programs.
• Expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and APIs, RAML/OpenAPI standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement MuleSoft APIs and integrations.
• Build RESTful and SOAP services to connect enterprise apps and databases.
• Develop Mule flows, DataWeave, connectors, and reusable components.
• Translate requirements into scalable integration solutions.
• Create API specifications using RAML/OpenAPI.
• Implement API-led connectivity across Systems, Processes, and Experiences.
• Manage MuleSoft connectors for cloud and on-prem apps.
• Perform testing and troubleshoot production issues.
• Monitor API performance and optimize processes.
• Enforce security with OAuth/JWT/SAML, TLS/SSL, and API policies.
• Deploy MuleSoft apps in CloudHub/Runtime Fabric/on-prem.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders throughout SDLC.
• Produce technical docs and runbooks; ensure coding standards and governance.
• Support releases, incidents, and continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement MuleSoft APIs, integrations, and application workflows using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Build RESTful and SOAP web services to integrate enterprise applications, databases, and third‑party systems.
• Develop Mule flows, DataWeave transformations, connectors, and reusable integration components.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
• Create and maintain API specifications using RAML/OpenAPI standards.
• Implement API‑led connectivity architecture, including System, Process, and Experience APIs.
• Configure and manage MuleSoft connectors for cloud and on‑premises applications.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshoot production issues to ensure application stability.
• Monitor API performance, optimize integration processes, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Implement security standards such as OAuth, JWT, TLS/SSL, API policies, and authentication mechanisms.
• Deploy, configure, and manage MuleSoft applications in CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or on‑premises environments.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Create technical documentation, integration design documents, and operational runbooks.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and governance policies for API development.
• Support production releases, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
