Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in New York is seeking an experienced Analyst to join the Technology Group. You will work closely with senior bankers on sell-side and buy-side advisory, underwriting and placing equity and debt for public and private companies across software, internet and hardware sectors.

You will participate in multiple transactions, build financial models, and contribute to client materials and presentations while collaborating with teams firm-wide.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of investment banking experience, tech-focused.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy and consistency.
• Hard-working, proactive, and collaborative in lean deal teams.
• Organized with the ability to multi-task on multiple transactions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team culture contribution.
• Dealogic, CapIQ, Bloomberg and MS Office knowledge preferred.
• FINRA registrations (SIE, 79, 63) required or soon after hire.

Responsabilités

• Create and prepare client presentations and internal memoranda for committees and boards.
• Handle transaction execution with direct client interaction.
• Build extensive financial models and perform valuations.
• Assess industry research and trends to inform deal decisions.
