Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a highly skilled Investment Banking Analyst to join our Technology team in New York. You will contribute to high-profile transactions, support due diligence, build complex financial models, and prepare client materials for M&A and capital markets.

You will work with senior bankers, receive formal training and mentoring, and develop core banking skills across advisory, valuation, and deal execution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year work experience in investment banking or front-office related role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related field.
• Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business writing skills.
• Understanding of the transaction cycle and execution oriented.
• Impeccable communication skills with senior professionals, clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute transactions: support due diligence, document preparation, negotiation, etc., liaising with client and advisers.
• Work with J.P. Morgan product and sector teams.
• Build and use complex financial models, perform valuation and analytical exercises.
• Draft presentation materials, management presentations, board materials, memorandums, and other materials for M&A and capital markets.
• Keep abreast of market developments and understand target client base and dynamics.
