Job summary

Dover Adult Learning in Dover, NH is seeking an educator to teach basic and intermediate computer skills to adult learners and to provide professional development to teachers on technology integration, online and remote instruction; distance learning technologies.

You will assist teachers in selecting and using appropriate technology, develop technology-enhanced lessons, and team teach with adult education teachers to implement integrated technology lessons.

Qualifications

• A.A. or A.S. degree; B.A./B.S. preferred; three years’ experience teaching with technology.
• Endorsement/certification strongly preferred, but not required.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

• Provide support for teachers’ use of local and state supplied online resources (NorthStar Digital Literacy, Canvas, etc.); serve as distance learning facilitator.
• Research new technologies appropriate for adult education.
• Oversee computer lab use, policies and practices.
• Attend professional development, staff and program coordinator meetings.
• May involve occasional travel to Concord.

Qualifications

A.A or A.S. (B.A. or B.S. preferred) degree in educational technology or related area and three years’ experience teaching with technology, technology integration and distance learning, adult education preferred or any combination of education and experience to fulfill job responsibilities.

Endorsement/Certification required: strongly preferred, but not required.

Bachelordegree preferred.

Starting Pay Range

$29-35/hour

Part time up to 20-30 hours per week, 36 weeks per year
