Job summary

Pinterest is hiring a Financial Manager focused on Technology Infrastructure to oversee financial strategy and investments in our tech stack, primarily AWS. You will partner with Infrastructure leadership to govern investments, manage vendor relationships, and enable cost-effective innovation across Engineering, Product and Design teams.

Responsibilities include forecasting, variance analysis, and building AI-powered forecasting tools to drive finance decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience forecasting expenses in technology infrastructure
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate financial analysis and forecasting workflows
• Experience managing multiple work-streams end-to-end across functions
• Expertise in building high-level and detailed financial models
• Strong business partnership skills and verbal and written communication
• Ability to multi-task and deliver against timelines
• Entrepreneurial, flexible, and collaborative mindset
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years in Finance or Business Operations

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure and Technical Program Management to develop annual, monthly and weekly financial forecasts
• Compile monthly, quarterly and annual variance analyses
• Identify and drive initiatives to improve OPEX and infrastructure forecasting, reporting tools and processes
• Embed AI tools into forecasting, metrics analysis and finance decision-making
• Design usage prediction models for short- and long-term capacity needs
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities
• Perform strategic, time-sensitive analyses and communicate key takeaways
