Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a Financial Manager focused on Technology Infrastructure to oversee financial strategy for its technology investments, primarily AWS. You will partner with infrastructure leadership to govern investments, manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective service for Pinners and Advertisers while enabling innovation.

In this role, you’ll drive forecasting, budgeting, and analytics across annual and quarterly cycles, with an AI-first approach to improve forecasting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required or equivalent
• Experience forecasting technology infrastructure expenses
• Experience with AI tools to accelerate financial analysis
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams end-to-end
• Strong business partnership and communication skills
• Proven ability to build high-level and detailed financial models
• Entrepreneurial, flexible, and collaborative mindset

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure and TPM teams to forecast investments and infrastructure demand
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis
• Identify opportunities to automate forecasting and reporting processes
• Embed AI tools into forecasting and finance decision-making
• Design usage prediction models for capacity needs
• Identify risks and opportunities and communicate key takeaways
• Conduct strategic analyses and present actionable insights
