Job summary

Pinterest seeks an experienced Staff Data Scientist to join the Finance & Business Operations team. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of forecasting, internal tooling, and AI adoption within the CFO organization.

You will own forecasting tooling end to end, ship product features, drive AI adoption, and influence executives with clear analytics and strategy. This role requires strong time-series, SQL and Python, plus product‑engineering instincts and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics engineering, or applied ML.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own forecasting tooling end to end, from data through interactive UI.
• Ship product features: charts, onboarding, views, filtering, performance optimization.
• Drive AI adoption across Finance & BizOps; translate AI capabilities into tools for finance users.
