Technology Engineer – Java / C# / Angular / React.js

PNC is looking for a Technology Engineer to join our C&IB organization. The role will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location, with responsibilities requiring time in the office or in the field on a regular basis.

Job Profile

As a Technology Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and governing enterprise-level Digital Identity development initiatives within an Agile development environment. This position involves designing and supporting Java-based applications utilizing Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs, while ensuring alignment with modern security standards and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to software development efforts across project lifecycles, including new development and maintenance of existing applications.
• Collaborate with solution architects to design physical architectures and propose software solutions that address complex business challenges.
• Partner with Agile project teams to assess feasibility of requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Analyze implementation impacts and associated risks to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical and procedural documentation.
• Review code, testing artifacts, and documentation produced by peers to ensure quality and consistency.
• Support deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments.
• Apply modern engineering principles, methodologies, and tools to enhance business capabilities.
• Provide governance and oversight of solution design across development and engineering teams.
• Continuously evaluate industry best practices and contribute to internal standards and frameworks.

• Knowledge of JWT tokens and OAuth authentication strategies.

• Provides a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.
• Ensures quality of project deliverables while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and processes.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $132,250.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. The role is incentive eligible.
