Job summary

TYG is seeking an experienced infrastructure design professional to join our mission-critical and data center focused team in the U.S. You will design and produce critical infrastructure systems for hyperscale facilities, collaborating with clients and internal engineers to deliver practical, coordinated solutions.

The role emphasizes high-quality Revit modeling, OSP design, and integration of voice/data, security, and telecom systems.

Qualifications

• Experience designing infrastructure for mission-critical or data center environments.
• Knowledge of telecommunications, low-voltage, or technology infrastructure systems.
• Understanding of high-count fiber optic deployments and structured cabling.
• BICSI RCDD and/or DCDC certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Producing high-quality Revit models and construction documentation for mission critical infrastructure projects.
• Designing outside plant (OSP) duct bank systems and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Supporting base building technology systems including voice/data, security, controls, telecom, and primary entrance facilities.
• Contributing to next-generation AI-ready and liquid-cooled data center environments.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project delivery.
• Participating in client meetings, site visits, and design reviews where required.
• Managing project deliverables and maintaining high technical and quality standards.

Location: Remote, Hybrid, or Office-Based (U.S.)

An established specialist engineering consultancy operating exclusively within the mission critical and data center sector is looking to expand its infrastructure design team. The business partners with many of the largest hyperscale and enterprise data center operators in North America, delivering complex, high-performance infrastructure solutions for some of the industry's most advanced facilities.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, highly technical consultancy where you'll have the chance to work on cutting-edge AI and hyperscale data center developments alongside an experienced team of specialists.

The Role

You'll play a key role in the design and production of critical infrastructure systems supporting hyperscale data centers, working closely with clients and internal engineering teams to develop innovative, practical, and coordinated solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Producing high-quality Revit models and construction documentation for mission critical infrastructure projects.
• Designing outside plant (OSP) duct bank systems and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Supporting base building technology systems including voice/data, security, controls, telecom, and primary entrance facilities.
• Contributing to next-generation AI-ready and liquid-cooled data center environments.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project delivery.
• Participating in client meetings, site visits, and design reviews where required.
• Managing project deliverables and maintaining high technical and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

• Strong background in infrastructure design, ideally within mission critical or data center environments.
• Experience designing telecommunications, low-voltage, or technology infrastructure systems.
• Understanding of high-count fiber optic deployments and structured cabling infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent organisation and project coordination abilities.
• Previous consulting engineering experience is advantageous.
• BICSI RCDD and/or DCDC certifications would be viewed favourably.
