Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) is seeking a Technology Designer II in Fort Worth, TX. You will assist Technology Consultants with design coordination and early project management tasks, producing Revit/CAD documents and ensuring code-compliant systems.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields and have hands-on experience with low voltage systems and project budgeting. The role emphasizes collaboration, client meetings, and ongoing professional growth within

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or relevant degree AND three years of applicable experience OR six years of direct experience in the design, application, and/or administration of low voltage systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry software such as Revit/AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems (nurse call, audiovisual, public address, security, telephony).

Responsibilities

• Assist Technology Consultants with project design and coordination.
• Plan schedules and budgets; manage early project management tasks.
• Produce Revit/CAD documents and QA/QC plans for projects.
• Perform job site visits to assess field conditions and ensure code compliance.
• Coordinate with disciplines and stakeholders; attend meetings.
• Support training and professional development.
