Job summary

Salas O’Brien seeks an experienced Technology Designer to join our Atlanta-area team. The role focuses on Technology scope across Communications, Security, and AV, utilizing Revit with AutoCAD or Bluebeam to document design and construction progress.

You will coordinate with engineering disciplines, review project documents, manage multiple projects, and contribute to production of technology design documentation.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience with Revit
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam preferred
• Experience designing low voltage systems preferred
• Familiarity with Structured Cabling systems
• Interest in pursuing Registered Communications Distribution Design (RCDD) certification

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Technology department head and team to drive project outcomes.
• Technology Design tasks utilizing Revit and AutoCAD or Bluebeam.
• Meet virtually or in-person with clients to understand their Technology needs.
• Review project documents, understanding intent and expectations of clients.
• Assist in review of product data and shop drawing submittals.
• Assist in review and response to RFIs, CPRs, ASIs, and RFPs.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of project documents during multiple phases of design.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects to ensure on-time delivery.
