American Electric Power seeks a delivery leader to shape how technology delivery operates across the enterprise. You will standardize delivery practices, governance, and lifecycle management, and embed repeatable playbooks to improve transparency and predictability.

You will partner with Technology leadership to drive adoption, coach PMs, and create enterprise KPIs, dashboards, and governance. This role emphasizes cross-team alignment and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, computer science, or related technical field
  • 7 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in project/program management
  • Proven experience defining or scaling delivery methodologies
  • Strong experience establishing metrics, dashboards, and performance tracking

Responsibilities

  • Define & Standardize Delivery Practices across the enterprise, SDLC, governance and lifecycle management
  • Develop playbooks, templates, and toolkits for consistent execution
  • Drive adoption of standardized practices across Technology teams
  • Coach project managers and delivery teams on disciplined execution
  • Measure & Track delivery performance with enterprise KPIs
  • Enable portfolio visibility with dashboards and reporting frameworks
  • Identify systemic delivery risks using aggregated data
  • Deliver high-quality reporting on execution status, risks, and trends
  • Drive continuous improvement to increase predictability and efficiency
