American Electric Power in Columbus, OH seeks a Technology Delivery Practices Oversight Principal to shape how technology delivery is carried out across the enterprise, focusing on defining delivery practices, governance, and performance measurement. You will partner with Technology leadership to embed standard methodologies, drive adoption, and enable transparent, predictable execution across teams.

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant work experience in project management or PMO roles.
Experience defining or scaling delivery methodologies and SDLC practices.
Bachelor's degree in project management, CS, or a related technical field.
Ability to influence across a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

Define & Standardize Delivery Practices: establish enterprise standards for delivery, SDLC, governance, and lifecycle management.
Drive Adoption Across Technology Teams: lead efforts to embed standardized practices and coach teams.
Measure & Track Delivery Performance: define enterprise KPIs and ensure baseline progress across initiatives.
Enable Portfolio Transparency & Decision-Making: deliver consistent reporting on execution status, risks, and trends.
Drive Continuous Improvement: assess delivery maturity and implement improvements for predictability.
