LMI is seeking a business-minded, technology-focused government contracts attorney to join its Law Department in Tysons, Virginia. This full-time role reports to the General Counsel and serves as the primary legal advisor to the CTO organization, guiding product development, commercialization, and strategic transactions for federal clients.

Qualificações

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and bar membership in good standing in at least one US state or DC.
• At least seven years of relevant law firm or in-house experience.
• Experience advising on and negotiating commercial and government contracts, including tech partners and federal customers.
• Independently draft and negotiate technology/IP agreements; assess contractual risk.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and cybersecurity requirements FedRAMP/CMMC.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Excellent judgment, writing, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop legal strategies with GC and CTO to support emerging business needs, technology investment, and commercialization.
• Advise senior leadership on legal and compliance risks and paths to business objectives.
• Partner with product, engineering, sales, and contracts teams across the technology lifecycle.
• Lead drafting and negotiation of commercial and government technology agreements; advise on IP rights and liability allocation.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting federal procurement of emerging technology and translate into guidance and contracting practices.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and training to move teams quickly while protecting LMI’s technology.
• Support federal customers’ acquisition and licensing requirements and subcontracting obligations.
• Assist with M&A due diligence and integration planning as needed.
