Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Director in Internal Audit Technology Assurance & Advisory. You will lead the NT team, oversee IT audit engagements, and guide risk-based assurance across technology-enabled processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience leading technology audit or risk teams is highly desirable.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills are required.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of 4–10 associates, including performance management and talent development.
Prioritize and sequence IT audit and advisory work based on risk and strategic importance.
Oversee engagements involving technology processes, systems, data, and controls.
Evaluate ITGCs such as access, change, operations, and resilience; assess ITACs and automated controls.
Use analytics and automation to enhance risk assessment, testing, and monitoring.
Provide actionable insights to senior leaders while maintaining independence.
