Position Summary

We’re seeking a Technology Architect to join our Cloud Engineering team and help shape the future of Lineage’s supply chain platforms. In this role, you’ll design and deliver scalable, resilient, and maintainable application architectures across our growing portfolio of supply chain systems.

This is a hands-on, highly technical role that demands both breadth and depth across software engineering, networking, system administration, databases, and modern development tools. The ideal candidate is a pragmatic technologist—someone who’s passionate about architecture and committed to building secure, automated, and easily deployed solutions at scale.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design high-level architecture for supply chain software, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and automation tools within our technology ecosystem
• Research and apply new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance security, scalability, resiliency, maintainability, automation, and deployment
• Support development and deployment activities through close collaboration with software engineers, devops engineers, data architects, and other technical staff
• Help identify and resolve critical system issues and security vulnerabilities
• Collaborate across teams to solve complex problems and navigate technical disagreements with informed, practical solutions
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other team members and peers

Job Requirements

Education & Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT Management, or a related field; or 8+ years of relevant experience
• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in an architectural role on large, complex projects

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of software engineering tools and technologies, including IDEs, CI/CD pipelines, APM tools, and cloud platforms
• Maintain a broad and deep understanding of software development techniques and technologies and be able to communicate technical concepts effectively
• Manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Demonstrate a collaborative mindset: know when to ask for help, when to offer it, and actively seek feedback
• Take ownership of outcomes, delivering high-quality work on time
• Learn and adapt to new technologies and business concepts
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed
• Bonus: Knowledge of supply chain technologies such as WMS, TMS, and YMS
