Job summary

We Communications is seeking an Account Director, Technology to lead day-to-day communications programs for a leading technology client. You will drive storytelling, executive thought leadership, and flagship events, while mentoring a high-performing team and managing budgets.

The role requires 5-7+ years in integrated communications, proficiency with MS Office, and strong media relations experience in technology. Hybrid work and cross-functional collaboration are core to this position.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in integrated communications or PR in an agency or relevant industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Technology client experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day execution of communications programs across multiple lines of business.
• Drive news and storytelling around major client moments and flagship events.
• Develop compelling story angles; lead pitching and earned media strategies.
• Write and edit pitches, messaging, executive briefing documents, media lists and coverage reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with business, technology/AI, and trade media; engage around client opportunities and issues.
• Monitor media landscape and cultural trends to identify timely story angles and reputational considerations.
• Provide strategic and tactical counsel to clients on evolving communications landscape.
• Lead cross-account and global opportunities; support growth initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver organic growth or new business proposal content and in-person pitches.
• Contribute to agency strategic planning and manage account budgets and staffing.
