Baptist North Mississippi Hospital in Oxford, MS seeks a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform and report laboratory results within the Pathology department. You will be responsible for assigned shifts, with overtime and callback as required, ensuring accuracy and timely test processing to support patient care.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in MLS/MT from an accredited program and national certification, with clinical laboratory experience and basic computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) or Medical Technology (MT) from an accredited program.
• National certification in concordance with current Federal and/or State Regulations.
• Basic computer literacy required.

Job Summary

Utilizes laboratory skills to perform and report results of clearly defined laboratory procedures assuring optimal patient outcomes. Responsible for assigned shifts and subject to overtime and call back as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
