Responsabilidades

• Assist Technologists to maintain on-time schedule and orderly imaging area
• Assist with breast biopsy procedures
• Greets and escorts patients and explains the procedure
• Prepare charts and look for scripts, outside films when necessary
• Help the technologist stay on time by having next patient ready
• Provide front-end coverage and attend trainings to stay current
• Keep supplies and patient gowns stocked
• Manage center modality schedules
• Monitor queues and throughput across modalities

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30-4 or 8:00-4:30, one Saturday a month 7:00-12:00.

Location: Hamburg

Desire to learn breast procedures to assist technologist and radiologist for biopsy patients. Multi-tasking and strong team player are key elements to the position.

Job Summary:

The Technologist Assistant will be responsible for assisting all Technologists in the center in areas that allow the Technologist to maintain an on-time schedule and run the diagnostic imaging scanning area in an orderly fashion.

Duties/Responsibilities:

(95%) Patient Care

• Demonstrates the company’s values in daily activities
• Greets and escorts patients to changing room; briefly explains the procedure

• Manages post-exam patient hand-off
• Ensures efficient, friendly, and smooth patient experience for all patients who enter the center
• Ensures smooth patient throughput of the entire center and all modalities

• Monitors center modality schedules
• Prepares charts with looking for script, outside films when necessary
• Helps the technologist stay on time by having the next patient ready
• Assists with breast biopsy procedures

• Provides front-end coverage as needed
• Attends trainings to stay up to date on best practices and certifications
• Keeps supplies and patient gowns stocked

(5%) Completes other tasks and projects as assigned

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

• Heavy lifting: up to 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
