Job summary

UF Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures, position patients, and operate radiographic equipment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, BLS from the American Heart Association, a Florida State License (Radiologic Technologist), ARRT certification or proof of completion with a temporary Florida license, and completion of ARRT certification within 30 days of hire. Less than one year of radiologic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
• Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Necessary Skills: Knowledge of radiographic procedure and practices.
• Licensure/Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association, Florida State License (Radiologic Technologist), ARRT certification-OR- must provide proof of program completion and temporary Florida State Radiologic Technologist license at time of hire.
• Must have passed ARRT Certification and obtain Florida State Radiologic Technologist license within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Experience: Less than one year - Radiological experience and formal training.

Responsibilities

• Performs various radiographic service (i.e., positions patient prior to performing radiographic exposures, operates and maintains all radiographic equipment).
