Job summary

UF Health in New York seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures, position patients, and operate imaging equipment in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The successful candidate will hold a high school diploma or GED, possess a Florida State Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility), and ARRT certification. ARRT exam passed and license must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Less than one year of radiology experience is preferred, with formal training documented.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Florida State Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT certification required, or proof of program completion with temporary Florida license at hire.
• Must have passed ARRT Certification exam and obtain Florida license within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Required Education:High School Diploma or GED

• Necessary Skills:1. Knowledge of radiographic procedure and practices.

• Required Licensure/Certifications:BLS from the American Heart Association
• Florida State License (Radiologic Technologist)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification-OR-Must provide proof program completion and temporary Florida State Radiologic Technologist license at time of hire.
• Must have passed the ARRT Certification exam and obtain Florida State Radiologic Technologist license within 30 days of the date of hire/transfer.

Required Experience:Less than one year - Radiological experience and formal training.
