Job summary

Wipro is seeking a TECHNO FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT L1 in Charlotte, NC to lead Oracle database administration across production, DR, and non-production environments.

The role requires 10+ years in Oracle DBA, 5-6 years Exadata, experience with GoldenGate, RAC, RMAN, and high-availability. You will install, upgrade, monitor, and tune databases and collaborate with global teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Expertise in Oracle Database versions 11g, 12c, 19c, and higher.
• Strong experience in database installation, configuration, upgrades, migration, patching, and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
• Expertise in performance tuning, SQL tuning, and query optimization.
• Experience with backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Knowledge of Oracle database security, user management, auditing, and compliance requirements.
• 5-6 years of hands-on experience administering Oracle Exadata environments.
• Experience managing Exadata storage cells, compute nodes, and InfiniBand networks.
• Expertise in Exadata performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience with Exadata patching, upgrades, and health monitoring.
• Strong understanding of Smart Scan, Storage Indexes, Hybrid Columnar Compression, and Exadata-specific features.
• 5-6 years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle GoldenGate.

Responsibilities

Core Oracle DBA Skills (10+ Years)

10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration.
