Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician in Toledo, OH to inspect, maintain and build new buildings. You will perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service, and participate in preventive roof inspections across sites.

You will work with a variety of hand and power tools and help manage company vehicles and gas cards. U-Haul provides on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver's license.
• D.O.T certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul).
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• General maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Work with hand/power tools to complete tasks.
• Coordinate with other technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
