Job summary

N2 Solutions in Broussard, LA seeks a CDL A driver with nitrogen pumping experience to operate straight trucks or tractor-trailers across multiple states. You will maintain logs, follow DOT safety rules, and manage routine fleet maintenance, paperwork, and client communications.

The role requires 2+ years of Class A CDL driving and nitrogen pumping, plus hazmat/tanker endorsements and a strong safety mindset. Overtime and on-site work with a small crew are common.

Job description

Position Summary:

Responsible for driving N2S equipment/trucks to and from various states and job sites, and performing small-scale nitrogen pumping jobs

Essential Functions:

• Driving a straight truck with a max gross weight of 80,000 pounds, a tractor-trailer combination with a tow vehicle of 10,001 pounds or greater with a gross weight of 80,000 pounds
• Interstate driving to and from multiple state jobs and locations
• Maintain ELD Drivers Logs
• Must comply with all local, state, and federal laws to maintain a Class A CDL with tankers and hazmat endorsements
• Comply with Department of Transportation requirements related to the safe operation of commercial motor vehicles
• Is responsible for the practice of and enforcement of safety procedures.
• Performs routine maintenance on all equipment and trucks in the fleet to ensure the safety of the fleet
• Assures proper paperwork is done to record maintenance
• Operating all N2 equipment without Supervision
• Maintains organization of equipment to present a professional appearance to customers and visitors
• Communicate clearly and intelligently with Clients

Other Responsibilities:

• Comply with all applicable safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education Required:

• Any combination of education and experience which would be likely to produce the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Preference will be given to a high school degree, trade school, or Associates degree.

Experience Required:

• 2 years driving experience with Class A CDL and 2 years in nitrogen pumping roles
