Technician Supervisor – Mountainaire Animal Clinic

We are seeking a Technician Supervisor to join our high-energy team at Mountainaire Animal Clinic in Rock Springs, Wyoming. The candidate will perform technical duties for medical staff and oversee scheduling and supervision of department staff, ensuring efficient patient care and adherence to company policies.

Position Overview

As a Technician Supervisor, you will lead the department by example, demonstrating organizational skills, following company policies, and maintaining a professional attitude while expediting care and efficiency within the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain processes for effective medical record keeping and billing
• Collect and process work charts
• Assist with entering in‑patient charges and/or procedures performed in billing system
• Ensure invoices are sent monthly and as requested by clients and doctors
• Process payments and monthly statements
• Resolve escalated financial problems with clients, collecting delinquent accounts and NSF checks; determine when special financial agreements are appropriate
• Assist with monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable
• Prepare, print and mail invoice or statement copies for customers as requested
• Perform other duties as assignedBe dependable and punctual

Qualifications (Required)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three years of veterinary experience
• Relevant supervisory experience

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) preferred
• Veterinary Technician credentialing or equivalent experience
• High level of competence in the complete range of veterinary technician skills

Schedule

• Full Time, Monday‑Friday (based on hospital needs)
• Rotating on‑call schedule one week every seven days
