Job summary

FloWorks International LLC, via its Sunbelt Supply division, seeks a Technician to deliver on-site service, installation, testing and maintenance of flow-control equipment across customer sites in the Longview, TX area. The role requires reading blueprints, troubleshooting, calibration, and hands-on repairs with exposure to CNC machinery and CAD tools.

The ideal candidate has a 2-year technical degree, HS diploma or GED, and 3–5 years of related field experience.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 year technical degree and HS diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years experience in technical or field service roles.
• Strong problem-solving and manual dexterity required.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow manufacturer instructions.

Responsibilities

• Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains products at customer sites.
• Interprets blueprints and manufacturer instructions to perform service tasks.
• Performs diagnosis, repairs, and calibration of equipment.
• Provides technical solutions and support to customers.
• Lears and completes required certifications as needed.
• Travel to customer sites, up to overnight as required.

Sunbelt Supply is a global provider of flow control solutions. We maintain one of the largest and most diversified selections of valves, actuators, actuation accessories and specialty PFF in North America, comprised of more than 50 major manufacturers. We provide in-house valve automation services, including CAD design and drawings, machine, fabrication, assembly shops featuring CNC machinery, and automation repair work.

Job Information

Operates in the field, on-call or provides technical support to assigned customers. Installs, configures, performs problem determination and maintains products and equipment at customer sites, following blueprints and manufacturer's instructions, utilizing product and technical knowledge of equipment. Repairs or coordinates repair of worn or defective products or equipment. Perform skilled, technical work in the design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair for assigned product or process.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides expertise related to product implementation and continued service
• Provides technical solutions and design implementations for products and services
• Builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies equipment, parts, components and assemblies
• Analyzes and interprets test data
• Evaluates performance and reliability of materials
• Performs routine analysis and calculation and recommends changes
• Diagnoses and reports malfunctions
• Learns and understands particular technical equipment; attends training and completes certification as required

Qualifications:

• 2 year technical degree
• 3-5 years experience
• HS Diploma or GED required. Specialized skills training/certification may be required
• Generally 2 - 5 years of experience in area of responsibility
