Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a senior engineering technology professional to support the technical delivery of infrastructure projects in Kansas City. You will apply advanced technical methods, advise on complex issues, and help ensure standards are met across projects.

You’ll lead work in a specialty area, coordinate with internal teams and client counterparts, and prepare technical presentations and analyses while mentoring others and contributing to project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related field with 10 years of experience, or AS with 12 years.
• In lieu of education, 14 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes as technical resource in project meetings and design for area of specialty.
• Researches best practices and maintains outside contact with other specialists.
• Acts as an internal and external point-of-contact for specialty area(s).
• Develops and advises others in related subject matter.
• Prepares technical presentations, reports, and analysis in area of specialty.
• Interacts regularly with clients at the staff level.
• May perform technical reviews for other projects in area of specialty.
• May be responsible for leading the work of a project team in area of specialty and coordinating work with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
