As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our local retail store, your role will involve supporting and overseeing repairs within the Walmart facilities' Refrigeration HVAC equipment team and assets. You will utilize your commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders, support Stores and Store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC safety policies and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and work at heights frequently.

The hourly wage range for this position is $28.00-$54.00. The actual hourly rate will be at or above the applicable minimum wage for the location. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls OR 4 years experience in similar fields. Type I/Type II EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling.

Preferred Qualifications...

Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program, or a Mechanical license in the job location's city and/or state.
