Quality Assurance Technician (2nd shift)

Summary/Purpose

The quality assurance technician will support manufacturing operations by adhering to policies and procedures to ensure quality standards are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspections, performance testing, and product testing
• Assist in manufacturing troubleshooting
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience with metrology and gage calibration
• Knowledge of GD&T and SPC methodologies
• Experience with SPC, inspections, testing, and troubleshooting
• Willingness to learn to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment
• Understanding of standard work procedures
• Proficient in English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Regular and punctual attendance required

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The work involves standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, grasping, and fine finger dexterity throughout the shift. May lift up to 40 lbs. The role requires specific vision abilities and exposure to manufacturing areas necessitating personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes and safety glasses. Overtime may be required.
