Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Machinery Mechanic in Louisiana to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on industrial machinery. You will support the maintenance team by identifying mechanical issues and assisting in equipment upkeep.

This role requires following established procedures under supervision and contributes to a structured, safety-focused work environment. You will learn and grow in a hands-on maintenance setting with the Sulzer team.

About The Role

Job Summary

The Machinery Mechanic is responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on industrial machinery to ensure smooth and safe operations. This role supports the maintenance team by identifying mechanical issues and assisting in equipment upkeep.

This job profile is intended for support staff that follows established procedures and works under close supervision. Smaller/easier decisions are made autonomously.

This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large, Division / Extra Large organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues.
