Sulzer Turbo Services New Orleans Inc. is seeking a Machinery Mechanic to perform routine maintenance on industrial machinery, ensuring safe, smooth operations. You will support the maintenance team and follow established procedures under close supervision.

The role requires basic mechanical knowledge, willingness to learn, and teamwork. You’ll keep maintenance logs, assist in repairs, and follow safety protocols while contributing to equipment upkeep.

Job Summary The Machinery Mechanic is responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on industrial machinery to ensure smooth and safe operations. This role supports the maintenance team by identifying mechanical issues and assisting in equipment upkeep. This job profile is intended for support staff that follows established procedures and works under close supervision. Smaller/easier decisions are made autonomously. This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large, Division / Extra Large organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Maintain tools and work area.
• Follow safety and maintenance procedures.
