Blake Brothers, part of TurnPoint Services, is seeking a skilled Plumbing Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems in residential and light commercial settings in Huntsville, AL. You will perform preventive maintenance, document work, and communicate clearly with customers.

Eligible candidates bring 3+ years of experience, a valid license, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Experience with tankless water heaters and water filtration is a plus; local codes and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of plumbing service experience (residential or light commercial).
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, tools and techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Plumbing apprentice or journeyman license (as required by local jurisdiction).
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in confined spaces, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with tankless water heaters, drain cleaning, or water filtration systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, broken pipes, and fixture malfunctions.
• Install and replace faucets, toilets, water heaters, garbage disposals, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on water, sewer, and drain systems.
• Troubleshoot system failures and recommend repair or replacement options.
• Accurately document work performed, parts used, and labor hours.
• Provide professional communication and clear explanations to customers about repair findings and solutions.
• Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and job site.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and supervisors to ensure timely service delivery.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for emergency plumbing service.
